These are trees of a single species and of similar age. The trees are photographed from different positions but looking for a homogeneous framing that tries to avoid the appearance of buildings and urban furniture by trimming their silhouettes on a gray sky background as uniform as possible.

The variations are caused by natural growth and various details such as breaking branches or building bird nests.
